We respect your privacy. This policy explains how Indigo ("the Bot") handles your data.

1. Data Collection

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to function:

  • Discord IDs: User IDs, Guild (Server) IDs and Role IDs.
  • Configuration: Custom settings (e.g., color preferences, role names, server configs).
  • Timestamps: Dates for permission checks and grace periods.

2. Data Usage

Your data is used solely to:

  • Manage and assign color roles.
  • Enforce server-specific configurations and permissions.
  • Maintain the stability and security of the service.

3. Data Storage & Retention

  • Data is stored securely in a local database.
  • Automatic Cleanup: Unused roles and data are automatically deleted after a configurable period (default: 1 hour for roles).
  • If the Bot is removed from a server, associated data is retained only as long as necessary for potential restoration or cleanup.

4. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data.
  • Data is only shared with the Discord API as required for the Bot's functionality.

  • Delete your stored color configuration by removing your color role (/reset).
